Snow Sports cover in New Zealand now 'Free of Charge'
QBE Travel Insurance has travel plans that cover pre-paid holiday expenses if your holiday is cancelled due to severe weather or natural disasters plus hospital, medical and non medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation.
Snowsports Cover: Free on the International Travel Plan for New Zealand. All other regions and destinations are charged the Additional Benefit Option.
Note: No cover under Elements or Inbound travel plans.for snowsports.

Cover for non-refundable pre-paid ski lift passes, ski equipment hire or tuition fees due to illness or injury. Ski run closure due to extreme weather or snow conditions. Hire replacement snow equipment if yours is lost, damaged or delayed during your trip.
Cover for medical, hospital, evacuation and repatriation is available under International and Annual travel plans. .

'NEW' Individual cover... offers independant travel cover for you and your partner while children are still covered at no extra cost. You can make multiple trips throughout the year with a maximum trip limit of 60 days. Extensions available if required. Please read the PDS as conditions apply.

Specified Items Cover: Increase limit to $6,000 per item, with a total limit of $15,000.

Cooling off Period ... If, having purchased the policy, you want to return it, you can do so within 21 days of receiving the Certificate of Insurance and obtain a full refund, provided no claim has been made and your trip has not commenced. The Cooling Off Period does not apply to policy or trip extensions.
